STEMathonX 2.0 is an interactive, weekend-long, and virtual event for grades 2-12 (younger students are encouraged to join as well) in the various topics of science. Our STEMathons are like hackathons, but with a bioscience/chemistry-based focus instead of computer science. During the pandemic, it seems to be that the only opportunities to continue learning and participating in extracurriculars are hackathons. However, we want to provide a platform for students who are interested in med-based topics rather than computer science, so they can have an opportunity to learn for free at home. Students will have the opportunity to take part in workshops hosted by professionals in multiple scientific fields (workshops will be held online via zoom), and create their own science projects to be submitted for a prize! The winners of each track will receive a gift card of their choice. STEMathonX will have eight speakers. Our last event featured professionals in the following fields: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Internal Medicine, Lab Professional, Surgical Specialist, and Bioinformatics. If you want to check out our previous event, visit our Youtube Channel (InfiniteSTEM Youtube).

As mentioned earlier, STEMathonX is available to all grade levels (2-12). STEMathonX will feature all the professionals, whereas JuniorX will only introduce you to the basics of science through fundamental experimentation. If you already know the basics and want to learn more about the specific fields, we suggest you sign up for STEMathonX. However, feel free to attend both, there are no restrictions.

The start of the event (Aug 7-8) will have all of the workshops/speakers. After the weekend, STEMathonX participants will spend the next two weeks working on a project that they will eventually submit. During this process, they will have the option to submit to three tracks: TBD. Every attendee will receive a certificate of participation and winners will receive a special certificate during the closing/award ceremony. JuniorX participants can attend the STEMathonX workshops as well if they want! Here is the schedule for STEMathonX (All times are in PST):
